I have a ‘20 302a Sport. Came with two flip keys which both work great. I have a 3rd straight key that’s also programmed to the truck that I take backpacking/kayaking etc. My question is, has anyone added a “old style” 3 button fob to supplement additional fobs? These come with a lot of the newer superduty commercial trucks. Is this possible? Pic attached of my inquiry.
The F-750 is based off the previous generation Super Duty so it may not be compatible. But instead of taking the spare key why don't you lock the keys in the truck and use the keypad? No key to bother with.

Yeah that’s what I usually do if I’m nearby. I’ll cram whatever may be construed as “valuable” into the console and lock it. I just don’t like to leave the key in there if I’m gonna be far from my truck. Sometimes it’s left at a trailhead for a few days. The straight key and keypad work fine as is tho. Was mainly just curious if it was possible.
I went on ebay and bought a fob that is the exact one I got from ford but has no ford logo, cost $40. I took a pic of the key cut of my existing key and then paid $20 for the cutting service. It takes about 30 seconds to program a third key. Then you can put it in a waterproof pouch and go.
