Has anyone added Ford Pass with the OBDII plug in that is available? If so, where did you get it and were you able to install it yourself? Thank you.

 

Ford discontinued the OBDII dongle about a year ago. See https://www.f150forum.com/f118/sync-...y-ford-452708/ for adding FordPass.

 

Do you have the Ford pass app on your phone?

 

If you have a 17 you may already have the hardware installed. If so you will need the APP on your phone then go to the Sync unit and select it follow instructions from there. If not here is a thread on how to do it. Ford Pass

 

I do have the app on my phone for my wife's 2018 Explorer and it shows my F150 also but doesn't have the ability to lock, unlock, remote start, etc.

 

You might not have the telemetry unit. Look in the settings on the radio if you see Ford Pass you do if not then follow the link I posted above to add it. Make sure your system is up to date first.
