Just buy the MC yellow and top off with that. It’s compatible with orange. Check when the engine is fully cooled.

Rockauto has the concentrated yellow for $15.40/gallon. I only use concentrated since when you flush out the system, you can't drain the water that is left in the block and adding the concentrated is perfect.

I use only distilled water to flush out the old coolant.

Unless I missed something, clicking your link shows only "universal" coolants and OAT coolants. The Ford yellow is a POAT coolant. I haven't dug into specific formulations yet to see if any of the OAT coolants actually meet the Ford spec because I won't be doing my flush/fill until next Spring. The Ford yellow coolant is around $31/gallon for concentrated.

Reality is with a complete flush - block and heater core included - any of the yellow universal coolants would probably be fine. If still under warranty you would be well advised to use the proper coolant and retain proof. I will likely just buy the correct Motorcraft coolant because the extra cost is very minimal.

The Motorcraft yellow is right there. Like I said already...the concentrate is a little over $15

Here is a better link that only shows the Motorcraft.

Looks like I missed it. That's half the best price I found elsewhere. I suspect that, based on comments I have seen about Rock Auto shipping prices, a lot of the savings will be eaten up there. I will certainly be checking it out.

The shipping prices are not that bad. In addition, you can get a 5% code and put it in the space "how did you hear about us". I just make sure I buy a bunch of other things I need anyway. The shipping on each item depends on where it is coming from so make sure if you buy multiple things, it doesn't come from more warehouses.

They have great prices on Mootorcraft ATF too

For my location, 3 gallons would have a shipping price of $13.99

It's a Degas bottle not an expansion tank. It's pressurized and a vital part of the cooling system because it allows the system to burp any air while also remaining pressurized. It's also why the Degas bottle is the highest point in the cooling system.

I'm an engineer and I understand the difference between the Degas bottle and the old overflow bottles that were open to atmosphere, but it's irrelevent to the discussion. As I said, as long as the coolant level is above the LOW mark, there's no need to add more.

Have 2 gallons of Yellow concentrate sitting in my shop that I need to throw in my truck. Still has the original orange it came with. No issues but I guess I should change it out since I have it.
