I have a 2015 f150 (4” screen) looking at adding a back up camera. the one in the link to be exact. So I can save some cash and not buy the $499.99 kit that has the programmer with it. Trying to figure out if it’s possible to enable with forscan.
I just went through about 20 threads and can’t find anything concrete with what need to be changed or even if it can.

I seen that too. But was unsure with all the mixed information in threads some say you can others say no

 

Dave, if you can find some any positive info, please share, im trying to figure out what is wrong with my camera system and if it would be cheaper to go with the kit you mentioned.
One you tube video suggests there are two 4.2” displays- one with a video chip, and one that does not- ( i cant confirm or deny this).
I just resuscitated an old thread i stumbled across- one of the original posters listed a procedure- maybe it applies(?)
