JL3Z-7E453-F is a TCCM for the original ESOF (2H, 4H, 4L) transfer case. The code ESOF tells you that.

What you probably need is Ford JL3Z-7E453-H, Motorcraft TM-347 which is for the TOD (2H 4A, 4H, 4L) transfer case.

Don't go by the descriptions on the website, they are terrible.

Those codes have a "/L" for ELDs.

I really appreciate the quick response 52merc!

Wow! If you cant trust the description of the part on their website,"F150. Without elect. locking diff.. With tod transfer case. From 2/26/18.", than what do you trust to get it right. I would assume the description to be more accurate than ordering off the picture. ??? The new module does say ESOF, so I guess I'll look for the "2TOD" module, except they all seem to be for "With elect. locking diff". Will that throw codes on my truck or be a non-issue? Also, the suggested part shows it for a truck Production Date of 08/2018-10/2018, might that be an issue as well? Seems like a lot of production changes in 2018. Again, thanks for the help.

Have a feeling I'll have to fight with Tasca to get this one returned now that its been installed and the box thrown away..

Not 100% certain, but as long as you don't try to engage the diff, it probably won't throw a code. I physically removed my locker (but made no TCCM or programming changes) so the locker wiring is just sitting back there disconnected. I haven't tried to engage the locker and I've had no codes or error messages.

Thanks Laminar, Tasca is assuring me I have the right module and that the 2tod module suggested by 52merc is wrong. I feel like i just just bite the bullet and order it anyway.

The code on my truck's TCCM is "2TOD/L". I have ELD. If you order the new TCCM and it doesn't work for you I will be as confused too.

Update: The Ford part JL3Z-7E453-H, Motorcraft TM-347 does indeed work. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction regarding the modules. No thanks to Tasca for their inaccurate website description on the modules, and of course they wont take it back because I plugged it in.

Its not Tasca, it is Ford. I've run into way too many incorrect website descriptions. In my previous life, one of my side jobs was to administer (means do everything) a part number system.

Glad it worked out and thanks for confirming my research.
