Makes sense. I am an idiot.

So since I do not have LKA, I need to order the console piece as well with the switch hole. Did anyone determine the harness that goes in to that space for a 2015? There seemed to be some confusion as to whether the 15 and 16 had a different harness, but I never saw MustangBill respond again.

Please read the entire thread. Some of what you ask has already been addressed. You can buy a new console trim piece, but you can also cut into your existing where someone documents in this thread. Looked good what they did.

Regarding the harness, Feel free to PM those who posted asking for more info. Some of that has been mentioned, but I have a 502a pkg so I had everything and ignored what they were posting. Worst case you have to buy a couple pigtails.

I have read the entire thread. Twice. There was discussion on the console harness and that ended without anyone saying what part needed to be ordered. Of course I could pm and keep that info to myself, but it's a forum. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one needing that harness.

Also, I wasn't asking about the console piece. I just stated I needed to order it.

I don't know what MustangBill ever did, but I can tell you I have had both harnesses in my possession and the 2015 has a larger connection to the main harness than the 2016

That's why I don't have a part# for ya, I have an XLT & was in the process of converting my console harness to allow for the floor shifter when that conversation was happening. I had bought a 2016 harness from a Lariat at first & that's when I learned of the difference.

While trying to get the correct harness using the part# on the 2016 harness, the parts guy at AutoNation White Bear Lake told me that you can tell the year of the Console harness by the first four of the part# FL3Z is a 2015 harness while GL3Z is for a 2016 console

If you have a 2015, I can tell you it will be FL3Z-14A318-X What I can't tell you without doing a little research is what the "X" will be
