Hello All,

New to the forum as I just got my truck not that long ago. This forum has been very helpful over the past month or so! I have added some features to my truck using Forscan and help from the community. Now i'm looking to add something a little more tricky and can't seem to find out if is possible, and if so how to do it. I have a 2016 F-150 Platinum and it has BLIS. What i am hoping to add is the trailer coverage part which it doesn't have. I think BLIS would be a whole lot more helpful when towing. I searched around the forums a bit and couldn't find anything specific to adding the trailer tow option. Has anyone here seen or heard of this being done? If so any guidance to the info would be much appreciated.

Cannot be done. It wasn't an option on the 16's so it is not something that can be enabled.
Check out the sticky for ForScan at the top of the 2015+ section and there you can see a lot of great things that can be turned on/off on these trucks though.

I was under the impression it could be done, but it would require whole new tail light assemblies from the newer trucks that do have that feature. The trucks that have that feature actually have different BLIS modules. Not completely sure though.

Edit: So it looks like what I was thinking about was just for swapping the newer tail lights. It appears that even if you swap over '18 lights and BLIS modules, that there is still a Forscan limitation to get everything to work, like Scott mentioned above. Unless the guys like Livinitup finally figured that out and I'm just missing it. It's probably buried in the Forscan thread.
