Add switch/button to bed lighting kit?

Looking to add bed lighting and it seems like this is "the" kit but it doesn't have that button. Here's the link to the kit:

Has anyone added the rectangle button/switch to this? Or is there a better kit to buy with the button? Thanks.

It looks like the kit taps into the Trailer Assist Lamp circuit so there is no switch. The bed lights would illuminate any time the puddle lamp circuit is energized. There would be no easy way to add a bedlamp switch located in the bed.
