Hi ya'll I am not sure if this thread is being discussed already in a different thread. But I was thinking add another sub to my factory Sony 502A system. I don't want to replace the existing Sony sub but just to splice and add another powered sub just so to give it more punch. I just wanted to wired directly to the factory sub that have the signal already processed. Any thoughts much greatly appreciated.

I am planning on doing the same thing, just don't know what sub to get. Also don't know if I want to replace the sony with something that will fit behind the seat.

I already have all my wiring ran.

 

I think you would want to tap the sub then use a lc2i to fix the bass roll off
