Default Add on to a Special Order Question

I placed an order for a 2018 Lariat on 10/2. I want to add the box steps to the order. I contacted the salesman today, he said can't add on to the order. Any idea's? The manager? In Cotus it's still in "order processing" Any thought's

I think they can change it within the first 10 days? I am going by memory. I know there is a deadline for when the order can be changed, and I would say that 23 days is probably beyond it.

At least it's something that can be added after the build. Better than changing your mind on on something like the size of the fuel tank.

Orders can't be changed after they're "picked up" by the plant. Usually takes 3-5 days. Might be different down south though, i'm in snow mexico.

Changes are ok up until a VIN has been issued. Box steps should just be a dealer add on. Or buy them and install yourself.
