Activate remote access module
I recently purchased a ford remote access system on ebay.
The seller is telling me he can't activate it and I need a ford dealer to activate the RMU.
I just need the module activated so I can use the iphone app.
Is there anyone here that is willing to do it for me

That's the issue with getting this on ebay. The dealer that it is purchased from would normally do the activation after you install it. Someone else on here had the same problem not long ago. There is a vendor on here that is also a dealer, and he graciously activated for him. BannerFord I think? You could try sending him a PM and see of he can help you out. The activation is done over the phone, so you don't have to physically go to a dealer.
One note. If you currently don't have remote start with fob, you will need to enable remote start in your BCM with FORScan before this will work. If you don't use FORScan, then you may need to make a trip to a dealer for both of the tasks.
