lol I thought the same.. I bought the truck with out seeing, figured it was a deal breaker as I currently only have 6x10 cargo trailer with no brakes. If I upgrade the trailer I can add it on pretty cheap.

Doesn't make much sense though, figure the two go hand in hand.

I'm really liking it so far. My favorite feature is the "all off". Allows you to kill all the lights with one button.

Only "complaint" is it is a tad bright at night. I guess that only matters if you mount it where it points right at your face, like how I have mine.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again!

Works like a charm!

Has there ever been a legitimate reason that Ford never offered these with the previous generation or will offer it in the current gen?

Understand why certain aspects of the Raptor are exclusive to the truck, but that should be kept to performance specifics like the OEM suspension, the massaged/tuned new EcoBoost, paddle shifters etc. Switches are a functional accessory that'd be beneficial across the whole brand.

I really like this idea, but it doesn't do everything I would want. I am planning on using an Arduino to make my own similar solution that I have total control over.

The key features I am looking for are more inputs (ignition, headlights, reverse, high beam) and then being able to program certain accessories to go on based on the inputs, with override and lockout functions. I'm looking forward to only having to run small gauge wire through the fire wall.

Thank you for finding that solution though, it has given me some good ideas.

I just bought this the other day and it will control up to 5 sets of lights, installed it in the middle console. It also has two USB charging port on it for your phones. $45 I had to give it a try.

Great spot! I have wanted to put switches there as well. Did you try the other side above the cubby or trailer brake?

Is there anything behind that panel? How did you remove that panel? Any suggestions or issues you had?

I purchased a switch panel from KustomFX on the forum here . The switches look factory and quality was top notch . https://www.f150forum.com/f118/kusto...-panel-363153/

There is a slight gap between the switches, but the angle of the dash, you really don't notice it. You actually don't really notice the switches at all, looks much better in person then the picture.

Did you run the wires to power the switch LEDs from the cigarette 12v ? Do you have a wiring diagram I can use or a link to one? I plan to do something similar but this is my first time doing automotive wiring.

Thanks in advance

I found this thread for panel removal, hope it helps. Let me know if you already finished this and if you had to take the center section apart to access the tabs for the right side panel.
