Default Access under climate controls

I recently lost an important piece of paper that slipped beneath the climate controls and above what I will call the ashtray in a 2020 King Ranch. I tried removing trim from the sides and reaching in behind to retrieve my paper, but cannot see and cannot reach anything. What disassembly should I perform to get access in that space? Thanks in advance!

I don't think I've lost anything in there, but after seeing several posts like this, I never lay anything on top of that cover.

I lost a credit card, don't feel bad. My credit card is still under there.
Just an FYI, I took a piece of self stick 1/4" weather stripping, and slid on the backside of the tray that opens. I then pressed it down with a putty knife. You can not see it, and nothing can slide behind the dash anymore. I will say, I learned my lesson, but I've also got it fool proofed now.
