Default Acceleration problem 5.0

Has anyone with a 2015 F150 5.0 have any problems with acceleration when stepping on the gas peddle? Mine sometimes seems to lag a little comparing it to my old truck 2011 F150 5.0. The peddle just doesn't feel like the old on.

Different axle ratio? 3.31gears are a bit slower off the line than 3.55 or 3.73.

When I picked up mine after driving my 2002 there to trade it in.. First thing I noticed was how hard it was to push the gas pedal making the truck feel like a pig. Took a few hundred miles but then one day after one of those hard 5th to 4th down shifts the truck felt much better. Not sure what happen but more fun to drive now and that was the last time I had the clunking downshift. Knock on wood!

My last truck had 3.73 rear and the new one has 3.55. Maybe that could be the problem ??

I went from 3.55 to 3.31 & noticed a difference. When I want some extra power off the line or for passing I use the trannies sport mode or manual select shift.

Turn on your gear selector, if you watch the gears they are always high.

It's a way to save fuel so when your on 6th gear and try to floor it, it takes a moment to downshift that's the lag you feel
