Acc power wire for multiple acc?
2018 F150, need to find a power wire that turns on and off with the truck. This is probably simple enough by splicing into the 12V outlet on the dash (It is powered on and off with the truck already) and running a wire from there to my new hidden 6-way 12V outlets, BUT...I'm running: cell phone booster box, Jetpack WiFi block, flashlight charger, radar detector, and a few other items. Of course, all these items are already 12V plugin items, but can I run that many items off one outlet wire? I already have a 6-outlet block made to give you more plugin space, so I'm sure if you are trying to charge 2 phones thats nothing, but running phone boosters and flashlight chargers is where I start to wonder if I will be overloading this wire.
Is there a better place to splice into for this much stuff?
Should I splice from 2 different circuits and split the difference or something?
How much have you ran off of one outlet before?
Any insight into how to do this without blowing fuses or burning my truck down would be great lol

Great, this is probably the route I will take. How much power can our stock 12V outlet handle anyway? Are they actually pretty weak, or would I really be risking anything running straight off of it?
If you’re running enough devices to ask, it’s probably a good idea to install the relay. You’re looking at $20 of parts and an hour or two of your time for peace of mind.
Yea the main issue would be the phone booster and flashlight charger I think. I will just go ahead and roll with the relay kit, thats the safest option for this setup for sure

I use this product. I ran a dedicated power line to a relay, and used the in dash 12v outlet to trigger the relay. I can add circuits if I need to, the box is very small, and no connectors needed to hook up to the box
