Ac compressor removal
Dang. This is kicking my butt. I need to remove the ac compressor on my 16 3.5 f150.
I have to get to the turbo coolant line behind it.
the bolts wont clear the frame rail.
Is it necessary to jack the engine up?
I had no idea how hard it is to replace the passenger side turbo.
Ford shop time says 7 hours for both.
I have 7 hours on the right side alone and Im still not putting things back together.

Settle in for a long tedious job. Not difficult, just tedious.
Had to remove both belts on my 2011. Those stretch fit AC belts are normally cut to remove. I wanted to save mine cause it was fairly new. Don’t really remember but probably used a heavy duty tie wrap like when installing it. Then the compressor can be unbolted and slid out of the way to get a socket on that jiffy fitting the compressor blocks. I did not have to jack the engine. Don’t remember a frame interference, but might not have pulled bolts all the way out either.
