Abs not reading
Good evening to all.
Was hoping i could get some insight on my abs issue. Forscan read the rf sensor open, the dealer has it on backorder so I picked one up from autozone and replaced it. Now forscan reads the rf as wrong part. I checked all 4 sensor's ohm reading and the
lf shows .477
Rf - 18.13
And both rears show open- no reading. Im lost because forscan is only picking up the fault at rf.
Been thinking of picking up a motorcraft sensor off ebay, but none have the same exact part number. (Fl34-2c204-ae) aka brab417? Plus those are a week or 2 away. And help would be greatly appreciated.

The Sensors can only be fully tested by the system when the vehicle is rolling over about 5 mph so rotation signals can be detected and sent to ABS control unit to verify all parts, including wiring and Sensor ability to detect a wheel signals are received.
Sensor resistance is of secondary importance in these systems, for that reason.
Good luck.

Fixed it. Ordered a fomoco sensor new part number: brab-514 / jl3z-2c204-d. Then reset codes with forscan. Steering wheel was still hard so I tried driving it around 10 min, no go. Turned truck off and went into engineering mode to play around, turned the truck back on and it fixed itself. So not sure if turning it off and on fixed the stiff steering or the engineering mode. But it's back to normal. 😁
