Default About to pull the trigger on wheels & tires, just checking...

I'm going to apologize in advance as I know most of you are probably tired of hearing rim / tire questions... I searched quite a bit and just seem to be making myself more confused and less confident, so I figured I'd just stop toiling and post up. I'm pretty sure I'll be ok, but can someone just confirm please?

I'm leaning toward a 20x9 +18 offset with a 285/60-20 Duratrac on a 2018 XLT FX4 with a Ready Lift 2.25" level and 3" blocks. I know nobody can say 100% for sure, it'll fit. I just can't seem to find anyone running that rim and tire on a 15+ with a level and that's making me worry. I found a ton of people running it on the previous gen, but not in here.

I had 33x12.5x20 on 20x9+20 wheels on my 2015 with no rubbing issues. You will be fine and honestly dont need the rear block.

Thanks for the response. I know I won't "need" the rear block, but I kind of like the look of a slight rake. The 2.25" level and 3" block will give me lesser a rake than stock, but still a slight rake.

You're currently running a +44 offset correct? If so from what I calculated your wheels will be sticking out about 1.5 inches more than current factory wheels.

Yes, the factory wheels are 20" +44 I believe, they're the special edition 20's.

You will be fine, i have same offset with bigger tire and same level with no issues. IMO I would not go 3" in rear. You won't have much shock travel, If you want some rake go 2-2.25", + 1" won't hurt..

Post up when it's done.

My truck is an FX4, it has a different shock than the non-FX4 XLT’s and works well with the added 1-1.5” that a 3” block will add. I had the exact same set up in my last truck (also an FX4) and it was perfect. Just to clarify, I’m not adding the 3” block to the current 1.5” block, I’m replacing the stock block with the 3” block.
