Anything known yet about the 2016's? Namely the transmissions and sync system? Anything else?

May be too good of a deal on a 2015 XLT sport to pass up is why I am needing to know?

Fords is developing a new 10-speed transmission that my debut in '16, but NLT '17. That's what I'm waiting for.

sync I would say is about 95% likely. The transmission I have no clue.

Transmission will be a game changer. The "new" f150 has the "old" engine and transmission, unless you are looking at the 2.7 tt. So the next transmission will make the '15 well outdated.

I would say that all signs point to the '16s having sync 3. I've got a neighbor that works at the KC Plant and they've already built some test trucks that have it.

Also the trailer backup thingy. Don't think I'd ever use it, but I will get it on mine (depending on cost). I'd like the new tranny, but it's not a deal breaker for me. Sync3 is though, that is why I am waiting until the 16s come out.
