Default 8" productivity screen

First of all I have searched high and low on this forum about this and didn't find an answer. After I hooked my trailer up and unhooked it my productivity screen defaults too the trailer screen every time I start the truck. How do you change the screen so I can get what you want to come up at start up?

It's a pain in the butt, but the answer is in the owners manual. I had to hunt and peck in that screen to toggle the screen to off instead of active. My trailer is in storage so I can't hook it up to give you a more precise answer sorry. Just stick with it and you'll get it

I swear I have tried every combination but I'll keep toggling. Thanks

If I remember correctly, you have to select 'no trailer' on the towing screen to indicate as such once you disconnect it. Otherwise, it will continue to log miles against your trailer and default to the towing screen everytime you turn the truck on.

That option is not there.

I think you're in the wrong screen. You need to go to Towing > Trailer Options > Change Trailer Selected > And then choose No Active Trailer

The screen will then no longer default to Towing.

Thanks a ton. I wasn't going deep enough. It was driving me nuts.

Just curious, what model truck do you have? I've never seen a 15-16 model with the those gauges. They all have the blue needle and everything. Yours is the only one I've seen with the red

Gotcha. Thanks for the response. Kind of reminds me of the last gen FX gauges
