Default 8.8 E Locker

Good afternoon all. I知 new to the forum and was hoping someone could answer a question. I have a 2020 F150 5.0 4WD. It has the open 8.8 rear. I知 rebuilding the truck after an accident and determined the rear housing is bent. I acquired an 8.8 E Locker rear axle assembly from a friend. I知 not concerned about the e locker functioning. I understand it痴 substantially more than running a wire to a switch. Can I install the E Locker rear into the truck and will it function without throwing any codes. I assume I could just leave the connector unplugged, or am I missing something? Ratios are identical.

Yes you can install the new axle assembly and no codes will be issued as long as the gear ratio is the same as the original assembly.
