6 speed shifting early
I'm having what I think might just be the behavior of the truck, but my 2017 with the same setup didn't do this so I am just trying to figure this out.
2016 5.0 6 speed.
The issue (if it even is one) is the truck shifts to second way to early. It's not a big deal most of the time, but there are occasions where I need to get up and go and it will have shifted to second gear already. When it's in second I can basically put my foot to the floor and it will refuse to shift back to first. It just feels super down on power at that point until it gets to about 3k or 4k rpm which I would think is more in the power band for the v8. The best I can explain it is if you are driving a manual vehicle and you leave a stop in second or 3rd. I don't know how to explain it any better than that.
Is this normal behavior for these? I cleared my transmission adaptive tables and it didn't help.
