Default 6" lift and Tires

Anyone got recommendations for a 6" lift. I want to put 20" Fuel-Vapor rims and 35" Nitto ridge grapplers on my 2016 V8 SCREW 4x4. I have the 3.55 diff. Anyone have a brand they recommend other than procomp? Also the 3.55 diff too small for the 6" lift from a performance perspective?

Just depends on what you want to spend. BDS makes nice stuff. Alot of people have their lifts here. You can do coilovers or not with their stuff. Fox owns them, so its fox stuff. Zone is made by BDS also just cheaper in price. Be sure to keep us posted with pictures.

Thanks. I plan on it. Trying to layout the price tag and everything. Hoping to pull the trigger in a couple of weeks

I have 35x12.5x18 KO2 on my v8, 4x4, SCREW. 2.5" front level with 1 inch rear block to keep small rake.

Removed crash bars and trimmed a good amount of plastic, but they fit without any rubbing, even full lock in reverse.

Also have 3.31 gears and didnt notice much difference but I dont tow yet with it.

But to answer your question, i would suggest BDS, although nothing wrong with procomp but you dont seem to want them.

Where ya from? I have the 20" Vapors and 35" Terra Grappler G2's on my '15 if you are interested.

I'm actually looking to sell them (I want 18" Rims).

Not interested in the leveling kit and 33's anymore? There are a handful of kits out there that offer 6", there are also a bunch of threads on 6" lifts also. A lot seem to lean towards BDS.

who anthony the OP or me? I ended up doing a 6" Fabtech with 20x9 Fuel Vapors. I wish I would have done 18x9 though

It is also going to be driven by what you're willing to spend. We had a Rough Country 6" lift with 35x12.50r20 Open Country RTs done for $4,700 with a lifetime warranty on the lift and alignment.

My 16 Platinum was done by another company with a 6" Pro Comp (5 year 60k mile drivetrain warranty from Pro Comp) with 35x12.50R20 Pro Comp Extreme MT2s done for around $5,500. Mine was done as part of the sale so I'm completely covered under warranty also.

Good luck in your search for the right lift. It is almost more important to choose the right shop along with the right lift. We are happy with both and don't have any issues with either installer.

I started at the leveling kit via coilovers but the amount of money I was going to spend on it I might as well get what I ultimately wanted height wise. I have it lined up where I could get Procomp from a local place and have them do everything but wanted to ask around about any other brands people have used before just going along with their recommendation. Any reason for wanting to go to 18"?

I love the look of a nice 6" lift and 35's but didn't like the idea of it being permanent. I felt the trucks stock suspension was to soft so i did coil overs and that fixed it for me. I think throwing a new set of coil overs in with the lift will do wonders.
