5 Star Tune Issues.
I just installed my 92 Perf/Tow 5Star tune with the Ngauge. This is my first time using 5 Star and Absolutely NOT Impressed. For Starters I paid for 5 tunes and only received 4. I asked for the Start/Stop to be turned off. It was Not. I took my Truck for a good test drive. There is 0 difference. Nothing! Hard shift still there, the horrible throttle lag, hanging up in gears. Sounds like Stock. I have been researching tunes for a couple of years now on this Forum. 5 star is raved about. But as of right now, I don't see it. Is there something wrong with the Tunes? Should I feel the difference right away? I even checked the Ngauge it said I was running the 92 Perf/Tow tune. I have read on here, it may take a few days for computer to learn how I drive?
But, there should be some differences, immediately. Correct????

If you don't notice 100hp and 150lb-ft torque, either something didn't flash properly or your butt-dyno is in need of calibration.

I am driving a 3.5eb, but should be similar. I bought tunes from multiple tuners including 5star. I agree that my 91 octane tunes were not impressive. I was able to tell a difference, but not amazed or anything. And that was from all the tuners, not just 5 star. So I bumped up to 93 and eventually E30. E30 is what I run now.
As far as tuners go, the mpt tunes were far better than any of the other tunes I bought so they are the only ones I bothered sending data logs back to for fine tuning. My data logs show my 0-60 at 5.1-5.2 seconds. That's not boosting launch either, thats just right foot from brake to gas.
Here's a video of my truck. This is not my finished tune, this was the first revision I believe, so it's a little hotter now.

I didn’t see where the OP mentioned any vehicle information?
I have a 5* 92 perf tow and 92 perf tunes on my ‘18 2.7 SCREW with NGauge.
I’ve now run the tunes for 40,000 miles, and flash between the two occasionally.
it’s nothing short of amazing. You are missing something, or it didn’t flash.
call them.

I got 3 revisions, but one was for shifting profiles, as when I got mine, the ‘18s were new and 5* didn’t have transmission profiles for the 10 speed box yet. One was minor changes 5* suggested when I sent them a data log on the initial tune. The third was after a dealer reprogram due to a recall. I had loaded the stock tune back on before the dealership appointment, and I sent the new stock tune to 5* so they could base my tunes on that, and include the recall fix (for a stalling issue while towing) in the tune.
