5.6 or 6.6 bed?

I'm just a regular guy, i'll go with 5.5".
Remember that SCREW back seats have flat floor and when the seat folds up, theres plenty of space to use there also.

For me a short box pretty much removes the possibility of ever using a truck as a truck. I believe this is reflected in why they are extremely rare creatures in small rural communities. Hell I don't think I've yet fully adjusted from when there were nothing but 8' boxes.

Thanks for all the feedback. I truly don't do much hauling and my current 5.6 has been just fine. I did opt for the bed extender "just in case" i need it some day.
Mostly city driving for me anyway, think I will stick with the 5.6.

As many have said, it's personal preference. For me, I could never go with less than a 6.5' bed because that's the shortest bed that you can load an average sport bike into (straight-on, tailgate closed, so there's plenty of room around it for stuff), and when I need to haul 4 of them, one has to get loaded into the bed. I regularly use all the space in my 6.5' bed, love it for the combo of usefulness but not looking like a work truck.

I had a 6.6 in my last truck (2 door). Worked perfect for hauling my ATV's and dirtbikes. My 14' is a 5.6 screw.. I like the look better, larger interior (especially with the rear seats flipped up) and plus it fits in my garage. If I need to haul anything long, I just put the tailgate down. To each their own.

I haven't been able to determine what the additional weight of the longer box is. I do know the 157" wheelbase has 50 lbs greater GVWR (7050 lbs) than the shorter wheelbase.
