Well I would make him replace it. At $140 a pair, they should be perfect. At least thats what he quoted me.

That's the style I have, only in blue, and centered under the F150 badge. They are metal, and so far haven't faded.

I’m having these made now by Billet Badges. This is a drawing I did...I’m waiting on their rendering now. They’re 1.5”x8” with a polished raised border and letters, everything blue or red will be matte black. They will completely replace the fender emblem.

I ordered a pair for my truck off of Amazon for $10.95 delivered.

Placed one on the lower right side of my tail gate, and now I still have a spare should or when the first fades out.
