Default 5.0

Just test drove a screw 5.0 and I have to say I was impressed!! Always for some reason bought ecos thinking the v8 was slow. Thinking about trading my SD in on maybe a platinum or KR. Wanna level and new tires and then make the 5.0 scream! I figure with the money I save from the up charge of a Eco I could put into a tuner and all. Anyone else modded there 302 and what would you suggest?

I'm thinking the price difference on a KR between a 5.0 and Ecoboost is only about $450 - how much tuning and all could you do with that difference?

Coincidentally, this past Saturday I test drove fairly identical King Ranch 4x4 trucks - one with a 5.0 and one with the Ecoboost. I drove the Ecoboost first. It was "okay", I guess - I was driving my Corvette that day...so... I did the same identical route with the 5.0. Within a minute or so behind the wheel I knew the 5.0 is for me. I had already decided such but wanted confirmation and I got it. I typically drive a vehicle for 10-12+ years and I'm not totally convinced the Ecoboost will run trouble free for that length of time.
