Default 4x4 Question

I have a 2020 F150 FX4. To go in 4WD do I have to stop and put in park and put into 4WD ?

You should be able to put it in 4WD at just about any speed. Going into 4L will require you to be 3 mph or less. It won't shift until you are.

Also the owners manual will explain in detail how to shift into each gear. It will also teach you how to engage the transfer case neutral which is required if you need to have the vehicle towed with wheels on the ground.
Ford hasn't really giving you any feature that didn't come with instructions.

The owners manual will also indicate to never use 4x4 modes while driving in high traction situations, such as on pavement.

It's in the owners manual, and Ford also has a series of videos on Youtube that describe how to use various features of your truck.
