Default 4A question

Hi,

Will I hurt my truck if I hit 4A at 70mph on highway?

Can you drive around full time in 4A? Car feels like it drives differently in 4A, but that may be in my head.

Any tips/anything I should know about 4A?

Your manual covers this well.

You can drive in 4A all the time. However, if the road is dry, there is absolutely no reason to do so. It does cause wear on components that would not have wear if you were not in 4A.

It should feel like it drives differently in 4A. If the road is wet/slick you should feel a little more planted, but even in dry roads (as stated really no reason for this) it does change the way your truck gets partially pulled down the road and around corners.

I really am not sure how well 4A works. On my truck, if I floor it, I still burn rubber for a LONG TIME (back tires that is) with 4A engaged. I have set the screen behind the steering wheel to see the front to back distribution and it shows 'lines' under the front wheels, but when I light up the rear tires, the front tires don't work ANYTHING like 4H.
YMMV...
