Default Maxtrac/Bilstein

Maxtrac / Bilstein. Just had the Maxtrac 4.5" spindle and Bilstein 5100's installed. Front is on the middle perch, for a 5.75" lift, rear has a 3" rear block. Riding on 275 x 70 x 18 tires. Front measures at 42" rear 42.25". It is not even noticeable to me having the front 1/2" wider in stance compared to the rear. Ride is really smooth, decreased turning radius, as to be expected. New wheels to follow someday.

Kirksumida - that looks great! Thanks for posting, been wandering if maxtracs would clear stock wheels with oversized aftermarket tires. Any rubbing issues at all? Are you running wheel spacers?

Not sure if a wider tire would clear the spindle. Mine is really close to it, probably need a spacer to clear. I just put a 1/2" rear spacer to match up with the front being a 1/2" wider stance.

Hey, which rear Bilstein shocks did you use on your setup? Wanting to do the same with my truck, only finding the bilstein rear shocks for rwd models that allow for an additional 1" of lift. Also, you are only using a 3" block and it leveled out with 5.75 in the front? I figured you would need a 4" block to level that setup. Almost looks a bit higher in rear but I'm guessing it's the slope of your driveway. Thanks for the help!

I believe the shop ordered them for the 4wd, he just went off of the eye-to-eye length to determine. It's pretty much dead-level, the slope of the driveway makes the rear look taller.

Awesome, thank you both! That makes sense and I'll plan on snagging the 4wd model rears. Kirksumida - which 3" rear blocks did you use? Readylift?

Kirksumida thanks so much for posting those pics and giving measurements too!! Great info, exactly what I've been looking for. Any chance you could throw on a couple pics of your rig on level ground? The measurements tell a story but I'd like it to pass the eye test too as I'm considering going with a 4" rear block for a bit more rake (maybe??). I currently have the 3" block installed with 2.5" level (spacers) in the front. Obviously my setup was intended for 4wd so I have vicious rake. Can't wait to get the maxtrac with bilsteins all around just like yours! Thanks again!
