Just got this issue with 2017 Lariat, for the first time ever. The camera worked fine at the start of the short trip. Then I parked at the store, did my groceries, returned. And when parking at home I have noticed this:



Indeed, the picture was not just black, it was very dark, but still I could see the objects. Restarting the truck immediately did not fix the issue.

After reading this thread, I have decided to wait till next day. And when I started the truck on the next day, everything was fine.

My only theory is the heat. It was a very hot day and, in addition to that, the right side of the truck was fully exposed to the sun when it was parked near the store. Now, is it the heat itself affecting the camera, or the heat somehow affecting the connector - I guess, time will show. But it's been two days without any issues so far.
