Default 360 Camera Question

Does anyone know if the side cameras continue to work once the mirrors are in the folded position?

I ordered a Lariat with the Tech package last week but forgot to check this during my test drives. I thought the folded side camera might be helpful getting in and out of my garage.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Can't confirm but I'd think so as the cameras are mounted in the fixed part of the mirrors, not the part that folds.

Yes, they are not mounted to the mirrors themselves, they are inside the mirror mount, attached to the truck...so they don't move unless you open the door.

Mirrors folded in while driving, Active Lane Assist works as normal.

At least, that's the way it is on mine with the trailer tow mirrors.

Thanks for the quick answers. I didn't think to check the position of them since I assumed they were in the mirrors themselves (like on my wife's car).

Putting them in the mounts makes a lot more sense.

since were talking about 360 cameras. is there any way to connect those to an alarm system to start recording if someone tries to break in or hits a panel too hard. Thanks
