35" Tire Mpg

35" Tire Mpg
I tried a search but couldn't find anything on this. I recently installed 35x12.5x17 wheels are tires on my truck and my mpg took a huge hit. Over the last few tanks I'm averaging 14.7 mpg mixed city and highway driving. Im located in southern california with good weather. Is anyone else seeing these kind of numbers with 35' tires? I was expecting to lose a few mpg but this seems excessive.
edit: I should have added truck is a 2018 F150 screw, 3.5 ecoboost, 3.55 gearing.

Did you recalibrate the speedo for the increased tire size because that could be showing 1-2 less mpg than you are actually getting.

Are you still waiting to get it or is it installed? The last I heard was the rough country unit wasn't compatible with the 10 speed eco models.

You can figure a 4% loss in town and an 8% loss Highway in MPG.
That's once you calibrate that speedo.
Pecked out on my iPhone.

If you're basing gas mileage on your incorrect speedo, you need to do the math manually to figure it out. BTW, if I got 14.7 all the time, I'd be happy. My vehicle lifetime mpg is only about 14.5mpg on STOCK tires.

Well then the Search sucks because there's a thread posted on this very topic every week, 52 weeks per year, for years.
Meanwhile, you may have added 30 lbs per corner, not to mention the 35" diameter's effective change on your final drive gearing. Of course your mileage will take a hit.
Have you recalibrated your speedometer yet? Then check that against a GPS readout. Good luck!

I amstill waiting for it in the mail. Per the rough country website it fits 17-18 F150 models, which means it must fit the 10 speed. I will chime back in once installed to let you know if it worked or not.
