$3000 PCO negotiations
Hello, first time buyer here.
When do I tell the dealer I have the $3000 PCO? I’ve read through a bunch of pages on the “just tell us your under invoice price” thread but still had a question about this.
Should I tell them while negotiating via email or wait till I actually walk in to sign papers?

did you use the same email for the PCO as youre using to contact the dealer? if so, they likely already know you have it.

Dealers can look up if you have PCO available when they go to the "manager" on pricing.

If you did keep it hidden, you should not mention it until after you have agreed to a price, and you should bring it up only when you walk into the finance room at the financing end of the negotiation process after all pricing as been agreed to. One way to keep it hidden is to use your spouse's name.
PCO is money from Ford, so it is inconsequential to the dealer that you have it, it doesn't impact them financially, but if they know you have it they will be less willing to negotiate because they want more.

The offer is good for anyone at that address, so if they type in your last name and address they will see it.

But, if you remain as anonymous as possible when you are online getting quotes, you won't have to reveal your true identity until you commit to one dealer and their price.

Excellent point guys, if you do your negotiation anonymously online through their contacts they could not know of the PCO. As soon as they have your contact info they can link to your PCO.
An alternative (and what I did), is get your pricing handled and solidified, and then fill out the PCO request. This worked for me by accident as I didn't know the PCO existed until I had a signed contract price for my order, so when I showed up later with the PCO they had no grounds to stand on regarding saying it was part of the original deal since it in fact wasn't at the original time of negotiation.
