Default 2wd vs 4wd vs fx4 shocks and struts

What is the difference between all 3 and does one sit higher than the others? Say I put the 2wd struts on will that lower the front?

I was just looking for the answer as well. I have a 2016 F150 Lariat FX4 that I've added an Autospring 1.5" level kit and Fred Goeske 1.5" spacers to, along with new BFG KO2 275/60R20's. The tires alone made a HUGE difference in ride quality, however I'm looking to replace the Autospring kit with coilovers and replace the rear shocks for a more comfortable ride. Its mainly a street truck, but would like the option to do some light-moderate off-roading. Would love some suggestions on a total package. Ultimately, my goal is to ditch the FG spacers as well and replace them with lower offset wheels. Budget is not limited...

2wd struts have a 1-1/4 higher perch nettting about a 1" drop. 4wd struts are all the same height. There a different dampening rates for engine type and payload.
