285/65/20 or 275/65/20 KO2 tires
My truck is here finally and now it's time to change out the white wall Wranglers. Been reading for awhile on the different tires people are going with but still can't decide between the two sizes. Putting in the Readylift 2.25" spacer in the front leaving the back stock. Keeping stock shocks. I see the 275 has more selection for brands and both would be E rated so the ride will be a bit stiffer I understand. I don't think rubbing will be an issue from what I have read so once again any benefit or drawbacks between the two sizes? Sorry the stock tires just don't do the truck justice.

I've got the 6.5 too, and I went with the 275/60/20 KO2 with the Readylift up front... probably could have gone with the 275/65/20. I also looked at the 285/65/20, but was concerned about ride quality so i went with the smaller tires.

I went with Nitto Terra Grappler g2's, 285/65/20, and 2" auto spring level kit. I'm going to raise the rear one inch pretty soon because with all my tools in there it sags a little. I would say that if anything the ride quality is better then the factory tires I guess because there's more sidewall.

I have had both the 275/65 and the 285/65 and strongly urge you to get the 285/65 if ride quality is important.
The 275/65 felt much harsher over bumps than the 285/65 and both were E rated. I was shocked at how much better they rode.
To clarify, I owned both of these on my 15, so it was an apples to apples comparison.

Ride quality is important to me so based on what's been posted the 285/65/20 seem to be better then what's on there stock. The 15 rides very nice so want to try and retain as much of that as I can.

I got 275/60/20 K02 almost right away with no lift. It's great. Feels great but will be going with a 3" level kit soon and changing to 285/65/20 K02s.
