Default 275/55/20 - 275/60/20 = same weight = mean same mpg?

I've been looking at goodyear duratrac 275/55/20 vs 275/60/20. Would like to upgrade to the 275/60/20 but didn't want to loose mpg. My truck is my daily driver. Would the mpg be the same since according to this they both weigh 46 lbs and the width are basically the same?

Diameter is different, so gearing is different. MPG will definitely change. Probably not much, but the smaller tire in theory would get slightly worse.

275/55/20=31.9" tall and 275/60/20=32.99" tall, or roughly 3.5% taller. You will need to adjust your speedometer to read correctly to be able to determine mpg effect and so that transmission shift points, and other factors, work correctly. Depending on your gear ratio you will see decreased mpg due to the effect of the taller tire effectively changing the gear ratio taller.

Same weight, same width = same rolling resistance? (I assume)

So only impact would be the change in height which as others mentioned would change your effective gearing a tiny bit. I doubt it would have a noticeable difference....compared to say a change in wind speed / speed driven / temperature / fuel quality / etc.

I went from 275/55/20 to 275/60/20. The only difference I have noticed is the truck looks better. Maybe half a mile per gallon decrease, maybe.
