My guess is the heavy hauling Lariat/King Ranch crowd (horse people and huge travel trailers) are correctly buying Super Duty's. They either aren't aware of the quirk of making a F-150 Super Duty light, or are and dismiss it.

I have one that I special ordered to my spec. I think I might be able to sell it for $100k now it's so damn rare.

2406 payload and has been a solid truck for 50k miles. I've towed probably 18k of those too. Except for the cold start rattle, which bugs me but not enought to fix it yet.
