Default 2020 EPAS Issue

My 2020 F150 Lariat with less that 3000 miles got the dreaded EPAS fault msg this morning twice and power steering was out last time my wife tried to back it out of the driveway. An epic flood in my town yesterday and we had to drive in 2ft of water for a block or so. All the dealerships within 50 miles are backed up 2-4 weeks for appointments. Hoping it goes away when things dry up in 3-4 days. I’m out of state visiting my daughter and my wife is not at all happy driving my CMax Energi for two weeks but I can’t risk it going out on her.

Seals aren't the best on the EPAS electronics.

It should, I'm at 120 and there are many with a lot more, but I'd suggest caution in fording water. Hitting deep water like you're in a Raptor on a desert run probably isn't best for EPAS longevity.
