My 2019 STX 5.0 is generating a P430 code for bank #2. I have searched the forum for similar troubles with the 5.0 without any success... just wondering if anyone else is having this issue with the 5.0

 

Cat converter bank 2.
Should be under warranty.

 

My '17 had this code along with two misfire codes. Dealer replaced the cat, saying it was the cause of the misfires. Of course it wasn't and now they say cylinder 5 had a cam follower and lifter bad and are fixing that.

 

I'm running gen 5 Whipple so I know Ford will not honor the warranty.

 

Well you know then that your on your own.
The code is for cat bank 2 monitor is detecting a lack of oxygen storage from the cat.
Contamination, melted etc. may have been due to misfires allowing unburnt fuel to the cat where is burned and melted the substrate.
Use a Scanner to look at the rear Ox sensors output.
Compare to bank 1 assuming bank 1 is still good.
You know what they say; you play you pay for it sometime. No different that off roading or racing.
