Had my rock chip repaired to day, cannot see it was there, while waiting for the garage door of the rock chip place to open some 80 year old idiot with no insurance, no phone no nothing backed into me. hit rear bumper, scratched paint and scuffed plastic, moved bumper in a little. Not having good luck with my 19 L[mited, only 400 miles on it. He said he was 80 years old didn't need no phone or insurance. Wow. Damage was slight, probable a couple of hundred to polish scuffs and adjust bumper but still pissed.

My '19 Platinum that I ordered is waiting to ship. I hope I don't have any problems.

No issues to report here in the first 1k miles...then again my truck is basic as can be, RCSB 4x2 5.0 XL 101a.

The 2019 10spd calibration is far superior to 2018 and it has been buttery smooth. Even when shifting between normal and sport mode often.

5.0 is strong and getting advertised fuel economy all while I am hooning it. Port injectors are loud but not much I can do there besides drown it out with an exhaust.

Good Luck! My special order Platinum came in on Thursday. It had 97 miles on it and the drivers door is mis-aligned by a 1/4 inch. I haven't decided if I'm going to accept this vehicle or not. Mostly depends if the dealer can align the door.

I noticed the same thing on my 2019 3.5 vs my 2017 3.5 and 2018 5.0. The 10 speed is BUTTER smooth in this truck even brand new. My 2018 drove like crap for the first few hundred miles until it learned and even then it wasn't that great.

It is no big deal to align the door, took about 10 minutes when I took mine in. I set and watched them do it. You should be good to go in no time.

For those with the door alignment issues, which plant was your truck built at? Mine was built in Dearborn and everything is aligned correctly.

Likewise. Fitment of everything on my dearborn build Lariat is perfect, as is paint quality. Had quite a few paint flaws and door fitment/interior panel fitment issues on my KC 2018 XLT.
