Thank you to those who took my color poll, I switched from Ingot silver to Magnetic after the forum and Facebook voted Magnetic and abyss. I chose Platinum due to potential better value. In my case of wanting adaptive cruise control and factory 20's, there was only a $2,000 difference between the 2 trims. When the time comes, how do I get a VIN number to track status? Tha ks Jay

 

Just contact your salesman and he will get the Vin for you. Then you can track your order.

 

Dont have a salesman yet, I've bugged my manager enough to place the order. Approximately how long should I wait to ask for the VIN. I know it took about a month on my 2016 order.

 

I ordered my truck 2 weeks ago, and as of yesterday, still didnt have an order# to track my build.

 

it all depends if the dealer submitted the order right away or waited until they placed a stock order for the lot. And then it depends on ford when they pull the order bank over

 

Just looked a buddy of mine's very similar to yours. He got that light blue color, but he love is Platinum. I am anti-chrome myself, so I went with a Lariat Sport SE. But you will love it. The new Sync is awesome with HD Radio and having 15 presets that you can set to anything, rather than the old groupings (FM1, FM2, AM, etc) is really convenient.

 

I just got a new 2019 King Ranch over the weekend. I can't figure this radio out. I also own a 2018 XLT and the radio is much more intuitive. Can you explain how this new radio is an improvement? To me, it seems like a hot mess.
