2019 issues
Hello all. Two issues I have been having with my 2019:
- when its cold, feels like and sounds like a rubbing sound from front driver side tire or even in steering column. Usually when slowing down below 20 mph but not when using brakes. Took to dealer three times and no help (also happened on my 2016)
- SYNC just did automatic update and now my wipers speed up intermittently when raining, so frustrating

Grinding noises are typically related to a bad IWE or wheel bearing or failed front diff.
Wipers, I can't speak to as I don't use that feature -but sounds as if the wiper speed is related to the sensed moisture, therefore as the rain increases, so should the wipers.
I have to assume this is true because you didn't indicate if intermittent means even if it's a light sprinkle.

*I am assuming you have rain sense on, and since the truck is "new to you" you just haven't' found that option yet. If you have that set to "off" and it's still doing this, I am sure you ARE frustrated, and rightfully so.
You can turn the rain sensing wipers off if you want, and just use wiper speeds manually as we always have. It's in the settings screen and has an off/on check box.*

Unless I have not figured it out, when rain sensing wipers are enabled, the speeds on the wiper stick do not do anything. Just off and about 6 settings for auto on. If you turn off rain sensing then it works like any other car with manual wipers.
You can turn it on/off in the IPC (instrument cluster) not in the Sync settings.
