Multiple sites are reporting this as an upcoming option in the Raptors and higher grins like the Platinum.
If they put it in a Platinum and Whipple makes a blower for it I’d be all over it.

somebody posted a Ford internal doc with the engine plans and the 7.0 is mentioned only with regards to the super duty. Haven't seen a legitimate source linked to the reports of any v8 in a new raptor, they're all clickbait/bad sources.

Definitely clickbait until Ford even hints at it. Might be time to find a more reputable YouTube channel. Too much garbage on the internet -- must use common sense!

well, this has been rumored at numerous sites....but, they are all fishing for views.

I *suppose* this is possible - BUT - I think unlikely:

1. The 3.5EB is Ford's "Premiere engine"...and the GT40 proves it has plenty of power to go. (without adding any weight)

2. Ford would like gain far more fans with a boosted 5.0....and, that engine has all the internals for forced induction already.

I’ve seen this rumor several places, and I’m sure it’s clickbait. However I wouldn’t mind if they made a V8 raptor again, so I can get a good deal on a used Ecoboost Raptor.

2020 Ford Lightning Raptor it has the 5.0 with a SC and kicks some serious Performance Truck butt. Seriously though it will happen with a SC if ever, I bet it will be on the 5.0 as it is proven to handle it.

Always nice to dream and even better when Ford makes it a reality~~
