2019 3.5 oil change and filter pleasantly surprised
Just changed the oil on my '19 3.5 and found a conventional drain plug and the oil filter has a plastic drip pan under it to divert the oil away from the frame and into a second pan when you unscrew it. No mess no fuss. Ford must have heard the complains from earlier years.

Yup I was happy to find a real oil pan and plug when I changed my oil on my 19 3.5.
