Does anyone know if I can install a 2018 F150 XLT tailgate on my 2016 XLT F150?

I really want the F150 imprints on the tailgate so I can put the matte black inserts into it. It looks like it will match up correctly and the camera should be the same, but I wanted to see if anyone has tried this and has pictures?

why not just stick the inlay stickers on your imprintless tailgate?

Because spending $800+ on a new tailgate just to get yet another F-150 logo on your truck makes much more sense! /s
