So I need to go the route that you went? Either change windshield or get the piece you got from another broke windshield. I had the windshield in my daughters explorer changed today and the glass guy is going to keep one next time he swaps one out of a f150
Thanks Mitch

Basically yes, I did it that way because here in Canada, getting a new windshield it's over 1000$ CDN, but in the States, you can get a new windshield much more cost effective it think, i noticed Tasca Parts has it on sale for 352.29$, the way I did it, it's difficult to get the Triangle spot clear for the camera, i have been using my for almost a year now and it's working fine, but my windshield doesn't have the camera heater wires, so i get a DTC from the camera complaining about the heater resistance.
Here below is the Windshield with rain sensor and camera mount at TascaParts:

Harness number is 14334, i got a used harness (JLT3-14334-CXE) but i only used the IPMA connector from that harness, the problem i had is the my XLT truck is missing connector C903, if you look in the picture below, this harness has 2 connectors C902 and C903 in the rear passenger side pillar that connects to the floor harness, but trucks that don't have an IPMA already, are missing C903 and this connector has the wires for IPMA switch and 2 Comm Module wires. XLT trucks with Auto Diming Mirrors already have the correct Power and ground wires for the IPMA, just missing the 2 Comm Module and Switch wires, so i cut my truck mirror connector, and soldered the connector i cut from the harness and i just routed the 3 wires along the top driver side windshield and down the driver side pillar behind the IPC and connected the 2 Comm wires at the IPMB connector behind the APIM, that was the easiest and the closest point to connect the 2 Comm wires, then the switch wire i routed to the middle center console, that switch just needs a ground connection and this wire.

I have enabled lane keep on my truck but would love it if I had the proper pin for the harness at the IPMA (Pin 12) to connect to a switch for on/off control.

I do not know where to source a pin.
Rock Auto lists lots of connector but not that one.
