I just picked up an 18 King Ranch FX4 and there is zero perceptible rake from the factory.

 

Please look and tell us what the shocks are/look like? New and improved?

 

Sure. No idea if these are new or improved, but here are the rear shocks.

Grrr!!! They look the same. Why cant Ford get a deal with a aftermarket shock company and put something decent on these trucks?

 

Why no ecoboost badge on the door? Just assumed it was a 5.0 for that reason.

 

I am on the Eastern Shore and I use Preston Ford.

I have not had much time behind the wheel but the truck seems great. I do not notice any rake. Too bad they did away with the adjustable Ambiant Lighting. The Stop / Start Cruise control is taking some time to get used to. Buttons have moved and it is a new pattern to remember. The seats seem more comfortable then my 2015. The 10 Speed transmission seems good. I dont notice any excessive shifting, it is super smooth. B&O sound system is a major improvement.

 

Good looking truck and perfect color, same as my 2016. As far as the grille goes I like it just as much as I like the 15-17 look. Only ugly grill I had was the one on my 15 XLT and I changed that.


Question. Are those fog lights LED now on the upper trims? Sure looks like it on your truck.

 

IIRC, the Ecoboost badging is now only on the tailgate. No longer the doors.
