Default 2018 Limited Badging

Just swapped my 16’ XLT sport ruby red for an 18 limited shadow black.

cant find much on here about the limited, but trying to see who likes the front hood lettering? I’ve only had it a couple days, but debating removing it.

also for the rear tailgate chrome lettering...anyone know of decals or something to go black (besides plasti dip which I refuse to use)

Wel I have already

at least removed ecoboost badge, stubby antenna and swapped my mx4 tonneau over to this truck.

The big thing is making the limited wording inside the big chrome tailgate thing stand out. I think it would make it pop.

cant find ANYTHING on it though

Removed the hood letters. Much cleaner looking. Just used my wife's blow dryer on low to heat and twist off. My 12 year old thought they were cool, so on his wall now. Everyone is happy.

yea I have a heat gun and know how to remove them, I guess I’m looking for opinions. I am still unsure so letting them go for a bit. My normal thing would be to say take them off thougg

Looks great! I’m partial to that color as I loved my XLT sport ruby red. Exactly what I meant by coloring the lettering. Are those decals? Did you get them painted?

any links or idea would be great. I want the same thing but in “limited” and in black

edit: I just zoomed in, it looks like you just removed the letters and that’s the actual tailgate color from under it, can you confirm? if so...do you find a lot of gunk gets trapped back there?

You can buy them on ebay, that's where I got mine.

I am also thinking of removing my hood letters. There is definitely no shortage of limited badging on the truck. I think it might look cleaner.

for a limited? Maybe I am not using the right term for it but all I’ve seen is “f150” decals or ones for a platinum.

the ruby red photo someone posted looks like he just removed the letters and the tailgate itself is showing thru
