LOL, ya know, you're right. I still like it though, even though it does remind me of a former life.

I just love that color. Really wish it was available on the Platinum. It would be a great match for my motorcycle. Being I am retired Navy, the color suits me well.

After seeing the original posters truck a week ago I called my dealer and started planning. Fuel Contra 20x9. Retrax pro cover line-x and tint on the fronts to come.

Just out of curiosity and a bit off topic, those that have had this color for a while. how's it holding up? I saw a brand new Raptor and an almost new Lariat in this color and both trucks were beat. I didn't want to be rude to the guy but his lariat with like 5k miles looked awful. Full of swirls and marring. The new Raptor needs paint correction from what I saw.

This is what my lead foot gray looks like after two weeks of purchase. Under the clear coat sports all over the tail gate and some on the hood.

Did it look like that when you bought it? Or this happened afterwards?

No, it did not. But after the first wash, around 14 days after purchased, I saw these spots and thought they were just water sports. but I believe they are not as they are under the clear coat and nothing is removing it so far. The dealer will send it to a body shop for re-paint.

The color "flops" more then I expected which is cool and the stripe is growing on me but the wheels helped with that.

That is really sharp
